Welcome to the "Archives" section of New Frontier Wrestling, where we hope to have this section of the website shortly. Currently, the Wizard is entering all the old shows into the new card posting system devised by Travis Beaven. The fact this site is live means that the first year is done. When finished, you won't even need to read this annoying message...how grand. So sit back, smoke 'em if you got 'em and strap those seat belts on...as we're about to take a wild ride.

2000

In the spring of 2000, New Frontier Wrestling debuted as an independent promotion based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Commonly referred to as the genesis of the NFW "1.0" era, co-founders Craig Miles and Quentin Sullivan hoped to bring back a style of entertainment not seen since the UWA in Philadelphia. With their hardcore, yet five-star skilled wrestlers...the journey began.

Beginning with the wild triple threat feud of Wild(5)star, Alex Wylde and 'The Wild Child' Aidan Campbell, NFW quickly positions itself as some of the greatest wrestling action in the United States. Soon after, Bloodhunt captures the World Heavyweight Championship in the amazing Random Rumble event to cement himself as a cornerstone of the federation.

2001

In 2001, New Frontier Wreslting continued its rising success as an independent promotion on the Mid-Atlantic seaboard. Honoring the fanbase, the Mid-Atlantic Title was conceived, but ultimately failed. Meanwhile, Bloodhunt's first reign as World Champion ended amongst much controversy. The title belt goes thru many changes, but ultimately ends up in the cradle of the arms of one man that just Ain't Goin' Down. Meanwhile, lurking in the shadows Michael Manson is groomed to lead the New Frontier into the next millenium after suffering paralysis.

Impact TV! debuts in this time, shortly after the first ever NFW PPV Banned 4 Life, which is the direct cause of Maryland state authorities banning the federation from its borders. This leads to a landmark 3 year agreement between Paul Tsongas Arena and NFW to broadcast their television programming.

2002

In 2002, New Frontier Wrestling found itself tumbling out of its peak as one of the most respected indy-circuit federations in the United States of America. However, things wouldn't last in the sunshine as several events eventually brought the federation to a hiatus in the summer...what lied ahead was the crossroads and one final decision: To fold, or to expand nationally.

2003

2003. To say that New Frontier Wrestling returned to the limelight after an eight month absence would be an understatement. Craig Miles and Quentin Sullivan wanted to be different, yet innovative. What sprung from their lips in early spring was the concept of something thought to be impossible. To combine the best of wrestling with the best of today's professional sports. Divide wrestlers into conferences, award points for victories allowing for standings to be kept to determine playoffs standings after sixteen scheduled shows for each conference. Then, a 12-man playoffs to crown the wrestler the ULTRATITLE Champion -- a trophy first introduced in the CSWA, now found its way to a new fed in the national spotlight. The future was bright and the past was behind everyone...

...or so everyone thought.
