Is Payne Too Hot for the East?

Outrage, skepticism and more than a few harsh words have flown out of Jason Payne's camp following the regular season finale for the Eastern Confernece show. Is this a shoot 'angle' gone awry, or a 'shoot' that's only going to get worse?
In one of the more bizarre NFW East moments of the season (if that's possible), Michael Manson revealed himself as the new 'booker' of the Eastern Conference and put Jason Payne through a ridiculous ordeal for their supposed "I Quit" Match.
Payne's response?
A middle finger and "I Quit" before he any ring action happened. Afterwards, Payne tried to interfere in several matches before getting dragged out by NFW East authorities.
Now, insiders are clamoring to find out if this was for real, as Payne has gone on his real-life blog stating that he's lost all respect for Manson and the NFW East conference. Payne has filmed promos for his upcoming playoff match against YYJ, but insiders are still wondering if the match will even happen, or if Payne will even wrestle.
Time will only tell, but in YYJ's case...he may want to be extra careful around the now extremely volatile Payne.
