The Rising Star...Off The Map?

According to inside sources that refused to be named, no one on the NFW West staff (I know, we use that word quite loosely) has heard from Chris “Nova” Vega since the end of the Divisional Round on the 8th of January in the Cow Palace in San Francisco, when he was, for lack of a better word, rescued from the chaos of the Second Chances match following his loss to Eli Flair by a man calling himself “The Hyperspace Kid.”
The Kid, appearing on behalf of a mysterious figure known only as the Chairman, was behind the wheel of a stylized ATV, on the rear of which was attached a joint so heinous that it’s rumored Tommy Chong saw it on ESEN and asked his mother to punch him in the face.
Mr. Miles and ESEN will neither confirm nor deny that rumor. Miles was quoted as saying “The internet…well, the internet is f*cked-up.”
Regardless, Nova’s behavior in the past…holy sh*t…year and a half…had been notably erratic, a series of drunken stoned ramblings and chance encounters, but somehow the Rising Star survived as far the final night of the Western conference…
…if he shows. If someone can contact him.
It begs the question, “Where is Nova…and what could he possibly be doing?”
