Week 8 Lineups Released

Reported on Saturday, March 4 2006

Working off the success of the Holiday trio of shows broadcasted during Week 6, ESEN announced today that Week 8 will repeat this trend and broadcast three separate shows in entirety. Season Pass Subscribers had to pony up an extra ten dollars for the UWA shows, but not this week as any fan that can get ESEN will see two huge interconference shows for NFW, as well as a special UWA Pirate TV including Ultratitle competitors.

With the challenge broadcasted live on Midnight Madness, Tom Adler and Eddie Mayfield have inked their names on contracts to meet in the ring with their chosen tag team partners at the next UWA show. Mayfield, the reigning UWA Champion defeated Rook Black before being bamboozled in-ring by Adler. However, murmurs are definitely afoot as Craig Miles alsow signed HIS name on a contract to meet his former tag partner JW Collins in a ladder match.

From Philly to Tokyo, the next Crash TV announced one simple match...that's already gotten hours of television promos, soundbytes, press conferences and blackjack fondlings to last a lifetime. In a special Survivor Series match with alot of points at stake, The Eastern Conference Team of Doc Silver, Beau Michaels, Monsieur Fantastic (a little more on him next), Michael Manson and Felix Red...will take on the Western Conference team of Joey Melton, Troy Windham, Eli Flair, Rook Black and Guy Boudreaux.

Two notes on this one so far: 1) Fantastic is apparently a trainer of Maggot, who was recently fired...and could perhaps be a slap in the face from Grand Elder Mikoto regarding Maggot's insolence last week. However, rumours are also swirling that Maggot may be trying to pull a fast one on Mikoto, as he's masked himself as Fantastic in the past under similar conditions. 2) NFW and ESEN officials haven't been thrilled with all the babble going on between Melton and Silver about old CSWA history that has no bearing on the upcoming match, or this year's Ultratitle. Apparently, the two needed to get alot of stuff off their chests since 1982.

Speaking of 1982, The Western Conference announced that it'll be sponsoring a special Hulk-A-Thon hosted by the popular comedic trio of Mega Job. This special Wrestlestock show from Venice Beach will include a fifteen man touranment with five first round triple threat elimination Interconference matches. From there, the five winners will walk into a War Games environ -- where its every man for himself.

Ironically, nobody's heard a word out of Dan Ryan regarding this.

Coupled on the card will also be a special competition/match between Manpower and 'Kodiak' Vic Creed in honor of the Hulkamania charity. Meanwhile, Scott Riktor -- a man who vocally challenged NFW to bring him the heat...will get his own triple threat match against two UNKNOWN competitors. Of course, considering Fiona Love's live Midnight Madness discussion with Craig Miles about Black Tom Williams, we can figure whatever LoC superstar this company signed last week...might be one of those competitors.
